Welcome to Rowan School. Rowan is a small, special school for primary aged children who have complex speech, language and communication difficulties. Many of our children have autistic spectrum disorders.

Notice is given in accordance with section 19 (1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Sheffield City Council intends to make prescribed alterations to three schools:

Increase in Capacity at The Rowan Primary Special School

The Rowan Primary School, 4 Durvale Court, Furniss Avenue, Sheffield, S17 3PT.

The proposal is to increase the number of places at the school from 68 to 90, from 1 September 2015. The purpose of this is to accommodate additional children who would benefit from the school’s specialist provision.
